The third trailer provided a new look at the series and also unveiled details about the ending theme song. Titled "closed eye sun," the ending theme is performed by Koji Nakamura, who is also responsible for the anime's soundtrack. The song features Honoka Takahashi, vocalist and guitarist of Regallily, as a guest vocalist and lyricist. Nakamura commented on the composition, stating he aimed to capture the essence of the series' vast cast and grand story through the interplay of various sounds, with Takahashi's vocals likened to a gentle narrator.
Previously, the second trailer had already introduced the opening theme song, "Kanashimi Sae Otonabite" (Even the sadness has grown up), performed by the rock band amazarashi.
