WeebMeta is a daily anime and manga publication for people who actually keep up: news as it breaks, season previews and first impressions, watch orders and where-to-start guides, reviews, rankings and the occasional hot take.

What we cover

  • News — adaptations, new seasons, release dates, trailers, licensing and streaming moves, industry and creator news.
  • Seasonal — what is airing, what is worth a weekly slot, and first impressions once the three-episode rule has done its work.
  • Reviews — episodes, seasons, films and manga volumes, judged on what they set out to do.
  • Guides — watch orders, where to start with a franchise, streaming guides and explainers for newcomers.
  • Rankings — top lists and tier lists with the criteria written down, so you can disagree with them properly.
  • Manga — chapter breakdowns, new series to read, and what is happening in serialization.

How we work

Our editorial pipeline uses AI-assisted research and writing tools to publish new articles every day. A news desk reads official publisher and streamer newsrooms plus the major anime press around the clock, writes up the stories that matter, and schedules them through the day; big announcements go up immediately and every week ends with a recap. Every article links to its sources and is dated so you can tell how current it is.

The airing schedule is powered by the community-maintained AniList database and refreshes every hour, so it reflects delays and schedule changes as they are reported.
