The pole dancing anime series Pole Princess!! is set to release a new theatrical film titled Pole Princess!! -Croix du Nord-. This 60-minute CG animated feature will offer an original story and is scheduled for a limited two-week cinema engagement starting January 29, 2027. The film will be screened at select cinemas in Tokyo.

Pole Princess!! began as a YouTube series in 2022, followed by a film in 2023 and a live event in 2025. The project focuses on the coming-of-age journey of girls whose lives are transformed by encountering pole dancing, centered around 17-year-old Hinano Hoshikita.

New Story and Character Details

The new film, Pole Princess!! -Croix du Nord-, will feature an original narrative where the central pole dancing group, Galaxy Princess, accepts an invitation to perform in a stage show hosted by Aile D'ange. The movie will also incorporate five songs from the "Shining Pole Song Album," which was released earlier this year.

A new character named Richika Himeori will be introduced in the film. This mysterious girl is said to have a connection to Azumi, though further details about her role have not been specified. Hitomi Ezoi returns to direct the film at Tatsunoko Production, with Toko Machida writing the script, Kenta Higashiohji composing the music, and Yoshihiro Otobe serving as CG animation director.
