Fans of the outdoor-themed anime series can look forward to the return of Laid-Back Camp with its fourth season, officially set to premiere in April 2027. The announcement was accompanied by a new visual and trailer, offering a first look at the upcoming season. A significant change for the series is the animation studio, with FuRyu Pictures taking the helm for Season 4, replacing 8-bit.

The core creative team sees some familiar faces returning, alongside new additions. Shin Tosaka is back as director, with Pierre Sugiura handling the script and Akiyuki Tateyama composing the music. Ryuta Ura will serve as the new character designer, a role previously held by Hisanori Hashimoto. The main cast members are also confirmed to reprise their roles, including Yumiri Hanamori as Nadeshiko Kagamihara.

Music and Manga Background

The theme songs for the fourth season have also been revealed. Asaka will return to perform the opening theme song, while Eri Sasaki will once again sing the ending theme song, maintaining a consistent musical presence for the series.

The Laid-Back Camp anime is based on a manga series by Afro. The manga initially ran in Houbunsha’s Manga Time Kirara Forward magazine from July 2015 to February 2019 before moving to Comic Fuz. Yen Press holds the English license for the manga. The first two anime seasons were animated by C-Station, with the first season premiering in January 2018 and the second in January 2020. Crunchyroll streams the first two seasons of the anime, which centers on Nadeshiko Kagamihara's journey into camping after an unexpected encounter with Rin Shima.
