About The Ramparts of Ice
The manga tells the story of Koyuki Hikawa, a high school student who struggles to connect with others, creating a barrier between herself and her peers. Despite her solitary nature at school, Minato Amemiya consistently tries to get closer to her. The narrative follows the complex lives of four characters: Koyuki, Minato, the popular Miki, and the easygoing Yōta.
The first season of the anime debuted on TBS and 27 affiliated channels on April 2 at 11:56 p.m. in Japan. It then became available globally on Netflix on April 2, and also streamed on other Japanese services. The manga, originally serialized as a webtoon on the LINE Manga app from January 2020 to April 2022, saw its 14th and final compiled volume published by Shueisha in February 2025.
