The Fable Season 2 Anime Set for January 2027 Premiere

The highly anticipated second season of The Fable anime has received a premiere window, with its release slated for January 2027. This announcement follows the initial reveal of Season 2 plans in April of the current year. Fans can look forward to more animated adventures of Akira Sato, based on Katsuhisa Minami’s original manga series.

A teaser trailer has been released, offering a glimpse into what the new season will entail. The production sees the return of key personnel from the first season, aiming for continuity in its adaptation of the acclaimed manga.

Returning Staff and Cast

Ryosuke Takahashi is confirmed to return as the director for The Fable Season 2. Yuya Takashima will handle the series composition, while Kyuma Oshita and Saki Hasegawa are back for character designs. These individuals, along with other returning staff, will continue their work at Tezuka Productions. The main voice cast from the first season is also set to reprise their roles, ensuring familiar voices for the characters.

The first season of The Fable aired from April to September 2024. The story centers on a highly skilled assassin known as Fable, who is ordered by his organization's boss to live an ordinary life for one year without killing anyone.
