A new television anime adaptation has been announced for Wataru Kajika's manga, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Clayman's Revenge. The series is scheduled to debut in April 2027. This announcement also comes alongside news regarding the third part of the fourth season of the main That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime, which is slated for July 2027.

Production Details and Returning Voice Actor

The Clayman's Revenge anime will be directed by Kentarō Sugimoto at the studio 8-Bit. Yūji Haibara is overseeing the series scripts, while Asumi Hashimoto and Hideki Sakai are handling character designs. Takehito Koyasu is confirmed to return to voice the character Clayman in the new anime.

Wataru Kajika launched the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Clayman's Revenge manga in April 2022. Kodansha's K MANGA service is releasing the digital English version of the manga. The ninth compiled volume of the manga was published on August 7.

Context within the Franchise

This new anime expands the That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime franchise, which originated from Fuse's web novel series. The main anime series, animated by 8-Bit, features Miho Okasaki as the voice of Rimuru Tempest. The fourth season of the main anime is planned for a total of five cours, with the first two having aired continuously. The third season of the main anime debuted in April 2024 and ran for two continuous cours.
