A TV anime adaptation for the spin-off series That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Clayman REVENGE has been announced. This new anime is scheduled to begin airing in April 2027. The announcement was made following the conclusion of the second cour of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 on September 25, through a collaborative video featuring the characters Rimuru and Clayman.
About Clayman REVENGE
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime: Clayman REVENGE is based on a manga by Wataru Kajika, with the original story provided by Fuse. The spin-off explores an alternate timeline where Demon Lord Clayman is sent 70 years into the past after his ambitions are thwarted by Rimuru. This new narrative delves into a different path his life might have taken.
Studio 8bit, which also handles the main That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime anime, will be in charge of animation production for Clayman REVENGE. Kentaro Sugimoto is set to direct the series, with Yuji Ikuhara handling the series composition. Asumi Hashimoto and Hideki Sakai are credited as character designers. Takehito Koyasu will reprise his role as Clayman in the anime adaptation. A teaser visual for the spin-off anime has also been released.

In related news, That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 4 is confirmed to continue with its third cour in July 2027. The fourth season was previously announced to consist of five cours in total.
