The anime adaptation of the shoujo manga Red River has launched its second cour, and with it, creditless versions of its new opening and ending sequences have been made available. New episodes of the series are currently streaming weekly.
The opening video features the song "Akatsuki no Hoshi," performed by Nana Mizuki. For the ending sequence, the song "flow feat. Yuko Ando" by Ryu Matsuyama is used. Both "Akatsuki no Hoshi" and "flow feat. Yuko Ando" are now available as digital singles for streaming and download.
About the Red River Anime
The Red River anime is an adaptation of Chie Shinohara's time-traveling shoujo manga. The original manga was serialized in Shogakukan's Shojo Comic magazine from January 1995 to June 2002. It was compiled into 28 tankobon volumes, and by 2019, the series had reportedly achieved over 20 million copies in circulation.
The anime adaptation is directed by Kosuke Kobayashi. Yoriko Tomita is responsible for the series composition, while Kenji Fujisaki handles the character designs. The music for the series is composed by Yoshihisa Hirano. The animation production is handled by studio Tatsunoko Production. The series is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
