During the Aniplex One Focus online event, the anime adaptation of Yukino Sonoyama's manga, Bless, announced its premiere window. The series is set to debut in January 2027 on Fuji TV's Noitamina programming block. This announcement was accompanied by the release of a new teaser visual and the reveal of two main cast members.
The teaser visual was drawn by character designer Honoka Yokoyama. In addition to the visual, individual character trailers were released for the two main characters. The anime is directed by Shotaro Kitamura at studio A-1 Pictures. Fukuro Kamiza is handling the series composition, and Ryo Yoshimata is composing the music.
Cast and Production Details
The newly announced main cast members include Tomohiro Ono, who will voice Aia Udagawa, and Chiyuki Miura, cast as Jun Sumizaki. Ono has previously voiced Astraea Libra in The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch, while Miura is known for her role as Yuuki in SHIBOYUGI: Playing Death Games to Put Food on the Table.
The Bless manga by Yukino Sonoyama originally began serialization in Kodansha's Shonen Magazine Edge from February 2022 to November 2023. It then transferred to Monthly Shonen Sirius, where it has been serialized since February 2024. Honoka Yokoyama, who designed the teaser visual, also serves as the character designer for the anime, having previously worked on sub character designs for VISUAL PRISON.
