A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 Unveils New Key Art and Broadcast Details

The second season of the anime series "A Wild Last Boss Appeared!" has revealed new key art. This visual depicts a battle involving characters Lufas, Benetnasch, and the Twelve Heavenly Stars. The announcement also provided details regarding the series' broadcast and early streaming availability.

The anime is scheduled to begin its broadcast in Japan on October 3. Prior to the television broadcast, early streams will be available on ABEMA and U-NEXT, starting on September 26.

Production and Background

The television anime adaptation of "A Wild Last Boss Appeared!" is directed by Yuya Horiuchi at studio WAO World. The series composition is handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Character designs are attributed to Toko Nakamura, Takashi Kobayashi, Shota Ueno, Akiko Sato, Mamiko Mizutani, Takahiro Miura, and Maiko Ebisawa. The musical score for the series is composed by TECHNOBOYS PULCRAFT GREEN-FUND.

The anime is based on the light novel series originally published by Firehead on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website from October 2015 to April 2019. Earth Star Entertainment later published nine printed volumes of the series, featuring illustrations by YahaKo, between February 2016 and April 2019. An English-language version of the series is published by J-Novel Club. The first season of "A Wild Last Boss Appeared!" is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
