The anime adaptation of "A Returner's Magic Should Be Special" is set to return for its second season, with an English dub confirmed to release on the same day as its Japanese premiere. The new season will feature a returning cast for its English dub, alongside previously announced Japanese voice actors.

The second season will premiere in Japan on Wednesday in Fuji TV's "+Ultra" programming block, airing at 24:45 (effectively Thursdays at 12:45 a.m.). Following its initial broadcast, it will also be shown on Kansai TV on Thursday, and on Tōkai TV and AT-X on Saturday. Japanese streaming will begin on Wednesday at 25:15 JST (effectively Thursday at 1:15 a.m.) on d Anime Store, d Anime Store Nico Nico Branch, d Anime Store for Prime Video and for LINE Manga, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai, with other Japanese streaming services to follow on Sunday. Crunchyroll will stream the new season.

Voice Cast and Production Team

The English dub will see Rebecca Chiara Marano as Lirika. The production staff for the dub includes Justin Cook and Michael Harcourt as Studio Producers, Jarrod Greene as Adaptation Supervisor, Michael Nicholson for Adaptation Prep, and Michael Stimac as Assistant Voice Director. Talent Coordination will be handled by Tara A. Williams and Brittni Hurley, with Gino Palencia and Brandon Peters as Engineer Managers, and Darius Blackmon as Assistant Engineer.

For the Japanese cast, Takuma Terashima returns as Desir Herman, Sayumi Suzushiro as Romantica Eru, Natsumi Fujiwara as Pram Schnaizer, and Asami Seto as Azrest Kingscrown. Show Hayami and Ayako Kawasumi are also returning as Jord Exarion and Priscilla Heisilkeite, respectively. Tarusuke Shingaki joins the cast as the Bird Mask. Taishi Kawaguchi is returning to direct the anime at Arvo Animation, with Takamitsu Kouno overseeing and writing the scripts. Hiromi Katō is designing the characters, and Daisuke Negishi is the art director. Kenta Higashiohji is returning to compose the music. Rock band FLOW will perform the opening theme song "Sorrow," and singer-songwriter krage will perform the ending theme song "Everlasting."
