A new trailer has been released for the upcoming TV anime adaptation of Atamoto's web manga series, *Tanuki to Kitsune*. The trailer, available on the official YouTube channel, provides a preview of the anime and features the theme song "Nikoichi!" performed by the Japanese three-piece all-female band SILENT SIREN.
The *Tanuki to Kitsune* anime is scheduled to premiere in Japan on October 4. It will be broadcast as part of TV Tokyo's "Animori!" programming block. Fans can anticipate hearing "Nikoichi!" as the anime's theme as it begins its run.
About the Theme Song and Band
"Nikoichi!" marks SILENT SIREN's first anime tie-in song in eight years. Their previous contributions to anime included "Sakura Saku Aoi Haru" for *Rilu Rilu Fairilu* and "Go Way!" for *Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion*, both released in 2018. The band, formed in 2010, consists of Sumire Yoshida on vocals and guitar, Aina Yamauchi on bass, and Yukako Kurosawa on keyboards. "Nikoichi!" will be released digitally on October 5, following the anime's premiere. A lyric video for the song is also planned to be posted at a later date on the official YouTube channel of SILENT SIREN's label, "YOUTHFUL TUNE."
