The manhwa sequel to Solo Leveling, titled Solo Leveling: Ragnarok, has confirmed its return from a ten-month hiatus. Publisher D&C Webtoon announced that Season 3 is "Coming Soon" and will feature a new artist. The series, which follows Sung Jinwoo's son, Sung Suho, had been on hiatus since January 2026.
The previous artist, Jin, had stepped away to complete mandatory South Korean military service. The new artist for Season 3 has been credited as Sanjimseung, known for their work on the series Ice Lord. Sanjimseung is also a disciple of Jang Sung-rak, or Dubu, the original artist of Solo Leveling.
New Artist and Platform Changes
A new poster for Season 3 has been released, showcasing Sung Suho surrounded by purple shadows, reminiscent of Sung Jinwoo. Jin's message at the end of Season 2 indicated his temporary departure, suggesting a potential return for future seasons.
In addition to the new artist, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok will also see changes in its hosting platforms. Tapas, which previously hosted the web novel and manhwa, is scheduled to cease service by March 31, 2027. However, the manhwa is also available on Tappytoon and Manta. The official English release is expected to follow the Korean release by approximately three to four months, based on past patterns.
