The upcoming anime adaptation of the light novel series Rebuild World has revealed its main production staff and a new key visual. These details were announced during the Dengeki Bunko Autumn Festival Online 2026 livestream event. This update comes more than three years after the anime's initial announcement, with a release date yet to be confirmed.

The newly released key visual for the Rebuild World anime features the tagline, "Put everything on the line to survive." The series is described as taking place after the peak of human civilization, with society attempting to rebuild by utilizing ancient artifacts and rediscovered knowledge. J-Novel Club publishes both the light novels and the manga adaptation in English.

Production Details

Shingo Uchida is directing the anime adaptation, with Tsukasa Sakura serving as supervising director at studio Raging Bull. Naoki Tozuka is responsible for the series composition, and Hiromi Kato, known for their work on The Kingdoms of Ruin, is handling the character designs. These staff announcements provide insight into the creative team behind the upcoming adaptation.

The original Rebuild World story by Nahuse was first self-published online in February 2017 before being picked up for print by ASCII Media Works in 2019. To date, nine light novel volumes have been released in Japan. Additionally, a manga adaptation by Kirihito Ayamura has accumulated 16 volumes.
