The official website for the multimedia project Paradox Live announced on November 6 that a feature anime film, titled Paradox Live THE MOVIE, is scheduled for release in 2027. This announcement was accompanied by a super teaser visual, showcasing the leaders of each team.
Paradox Live began on November 6, 2019, as a hip-hop-themed mixed-media project by Avex and GCREST. Its core activities include CD releases featuring music tracks and voice dramas. The project previously saw a 12-episode TV anime series, Paradox Live THE ANIMATION, which aired in 2023. Crunchyroll streamed the TV anime in North America, Central America, South America, Europe (excluding Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries), and Oceania.
Film Details and Production
The upcoming film will expand on the existing cast, featuring characters from the TV series alongside new additions. In total, the movie will include 29 characters distributed across nine different teams. STUDIO GRAPH77 is confirmed to be handling the production of the film. This studio is known for its work on "Shikaku," an episode from the Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 anime anthology released in 2025.
The Paradox Live project centers on a new movement called “Phantom Live,” where artists use metal accessories known as “Phantom Metal.” These accessories react to the wearer’s emotions to create visual effects, setting the stage for performances by young artists.
