Disney Japan has announced that the second season of Disney Twisted-Wonderland The Animation will premiere on December 23. This new season, subtitled "Episode of Savanaclaw," will be available weekly on Disney+ and is planned for eight episodes. A new visual for the season was also unveiled, featuring the tagline "There are no rules in this hunt."
This announcement follows the first season of the anime adaptation, which began streaming on Disney+ on October 29, 2025. That initial season, consisting of eight episodes, adapted content from the Disney Twisted-Wonderland mobile game, which features bishonen versions of Disney villains.
Production Details and Future Plans
The production team for the anime includes Takahiro Natori, who is responsible for the series composition and serves as chief director. Shin Katagai directs the series, with studios Yumeta Company and Graphinica handling the animation. Yoichi Kato is the main writer, and Haruka Nakano and Akane Sato adapt Yana Toboso's original character designs for animation.
Fans can also look forward to future installments, as a third season, subtitled "Episode of Octavinelle," is already planned. The original game's concept involves characters summoned to a magical academy, Night Raven College, a prestigious institution known for its magic users.
