The television anime of the Chōjin-teki Share House Story Charisma project is scheduled to premiere on January 7. This announcement was made in a teaser promotional video, which also revealed the anime's debut date. The series will air on TBS and 27 other affiliate channels, with episodes broadcast on Thursdays at 11:56 p.m. Jōji Furuta is directing the anime at Pierrot Films, with original creator Shū Matsubara overseeing and writing the series scripts. Evil Line Records is handling the music.

In addition to the main TV anime, a separate short anime series will begin airing earlier, on November 4. This short series will be broadcast on TBS on Wednesdays at 11:56 p.m., as part of TBS's Yoru no Brunch program.

New Cast Members and Returning Roles

The project also revealed two new cast members for the TV anime: Shinnosuke Tachibana will voice Sōemon Nakakami, and Tomohiro Ōno will voice Shū Torahime. These new additions join a cast of confirmed members who are reprising their roles from the original project.

Returning cast members include Yūki Ono as Fumiya Itō (the charisma of good and evil), Masahiro Yamanaka as Rikai Kusanagi (the charisma of order), Katsumi Fukuhara as Iori Motohashi (the charisma of obedience), Kenta Hosoda as Kei Sarukawa (the charisma of rebellion), Saku Hyūga as Ohse Minato (the charisma of internal punishment), Genki Okawa as Terra (the charisma of self-love), and Tomohisa Hashizume as Amahiko Tendō (the charisma of sex).

Project Background

Evil Line Records and Dazed launched the original Chōjin-teki Share House Story Charisma project in 2021. The project centers on 2D characters who embody "charisma," referring to divinely gifted elemental traits. These characters reside in a share house as they strive for higher aspirations. The project has previously released musical works and hosted live concerts. Two manga adaptations, Charisma: Kyō mo Heiwa Desu and Charisma: Charisma na Karera wa Charisma House de Karizumai-chū, were serialized from 2023 to 2024 and 2023 respectively.
